1.1 Pre-Installation Preparation
- Check the package contents: Confirm all components are included (main frame, clamps/weighted base, fasteners, adjustment tools, installation manual).
- Inspect the balcony: Ensure the balcony railing/floor is stable and free of damage. The bearing capacity of the installation area should be ≥ 25kg/㎡.
- Choose installation position: Select a location with unobstructed sunlight (avoid shading from buildings/trees) and convenient daily movement.
2.2 Step-by-Step Installation
1. Assemble the base frame: Connect the frame components using the provided fasteners (no additional tools needed; hand-tightening is sufficient).
2. Fix the base: For clamp-on type, attach the clamps to the balcony railing and tighten the knobs to secure (ensure the clamp fits railing thickness 3-8cm); for weighted base type, place the base on a flat balcony floor and add counterweights (e.g., concrete blocks, water tanks) as required.
3. Install the panel support: Mount the support rails on the base frame and adjust the tilt angle (15°-30°) according to local sunlight conditions.
4. Fix the solar panel: Place the solar panel on the support rails and secure it with the panel clips. Ensure the panel is stable and not loose.
5. Check and test: Verify all connections are tight, the frame is level, and the panel is not shaded. Conduct a simple test to confirm the mounting system is stable.
